Integrated digital teaching and digital transition training for school staff

What is the goal of the investment?

Develop the digital instruction skills of teachers through continuous training that accelerates the digital transition and the adoption of an integrated model of instruction for all schools. Training will be provided for around 650 thousand teachers and members of the school staff, with around 20 thousand courses realized in 5 years, in specially built local training centres.

The measure calls for:
•  the creation of a system for the ongoing training of faculty and school personnel for the transition to digital;
•the adoption of a national framework for integrated digital instruction, with the goal of promoting the adoption of curricula in digital skills in all schools. 
The investment is closely linked to the Reform 2.2 with the same mission and component, which will aim for the construction of a system of obligatory continuing education, which would be carried out in line with European standards. The profit in these courses will also be connected to career progressions, as established in the Reform 2.1 that deals with new criteria for the hiring and evaluation of instructional personnel.
