What is the goal of the investment?
Strengthen STEM, digital and more innovative skills, especially for female students, so as to improve gender balance. The action also aims to enhance language skills among both students and teachers through an expansion of the Erasmus+ programme with the support of the National Institute of Documentation, Innovation and Educational Research (INDIRE).

At least 8 thousand schools will initiate projects in the field of STEM skills, using a national platform that will oversee implementation of the programme, the monitoring of data and the dissemination of information. 1,000 language and methodological courses per year will be held for all teachers. A digital system will also be developed to monitor language skills nationally with the support of the respective certifying bodies.
