The investment supports  urban re-generation projects to promote social inclusion and fight various forms of vulnerability, aggravated by the pandemic emergency.

The project includes the rehabilitation of various urban areas, to promote the development and realisation of long-term investments, develop new and alternative lending opportunities and accelerate investments in urban rehabilitation.  As a matter of fact, a financial endowment is planned to promote a Thematic Fund (Fund of Funds) in collaboration with the EIB, to advance private intervention and support the digital and ecological transition in urban areas, too.
